1. Nagarmal Bajoria, who contested nearly 300 elections, dies at 97

   The Bhagalpur businessman, known for contesting close to 300 elections across the country, died at a Patna hospital on 3 September. He had campaigned against former Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi in Rae Bareli and Rajiv Gandhi in Amethi.
