1. Praggnanandhaa wins the Grand Chess Tour title

   R. Praggnanandhaa beat defending champion Fabiano Caruana in the final to win the Grand Chess Tour, becoming the first Indian to win the event. The Chennai grandmaster was trailing against the world No. 2 before recovering in the classical games and settling the contest in the faster time controls.
