1. Foreign investors put $3.1 billion into Indian equities in August

   Foreign institutional investors bought a net $3.1 billion of Indian shares in August 2026, their highest monthly inflow since they bought $6.9 billion worth in September 2024. It was the second straight month of buying, after a four-month selloff.
