1. Equity mutual fund inflows rise 18% to a four-month high

   Net inflows into equity mutual funds rose to ₹29,328 crore in August 2026, while contributions through systematic investment plans stayed flat for a third month. Underneath the headline numbers, capital rotated away from large-cap and diversified strategies towards mid-cap, small-cap and selected hybrid funds.
