  2. Mission Samriddh Gaon launched for self-reliant villages

The Ministry of Rural Development launched Mission Samriddh Gaon on 26 August at Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi, aiming at poverty-free villages where every rural family has a sustainable livelihood. The design rests on family-level household mapping, convergence of departmental schemes, integrated farming systems and the Lakhpati Didi model.
