BSSC CGL Syllabus

The BSSC CGL Preliminary exam is a single objective paper covering three broad sections: General Studies, General Science & Mathematics, and Reasoning. It runs 150 questions over 2 hours 15 minutes, marked +4 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong one — so 600 marks are on the table, and careless guessing is expensive.
It is also an open-book paper: one NCERT or BSEB textbook per section is allowed. Guides, photocopies, handwritten notes and electronic devices are not.
